Program Description: The Strom Thurmond Institute of Government and Public Affairs, a public service activity of Clemson University, reports to the Vice President for Public Service and Agriculture. The Institute conducts applied research and service in public policy areas, drawing on the expertise of Clemson University faculty, staff, and students. The Institute also enhances awareness of current public policy issues on the campus and throughout the state and region through informal and formal educational programs.
